How Wakepath looks after what your team writes. This is a short overview for the pilot. It does not replace your organization's own privacy agreements.
In plain words
- Wakepath keeps the notes, reviews and answers your team writes. Other schools and agencies never see them.

Our approach
Wakepath is built to hold sensitive understanding with care. We collect only what a support team needs to record observations and see patterns over time, and we keep each organization's records separated from every other organization's.
What we store
The product stores the observations, reviews, notes, and account details that your team enters. It does not build hidden profiles, and it does not use one person's record to make automated decisions about them. The support levels in the product describe how well current support fits — never a judgment of the person.
Who can see it
Access is granted by invitation through your organization's administrator and is limited to authorized members of your organization. Staff see the members and surfaces their role allows. Records for one organization are never shown to another.
Automated follow-ups
If a team has chosen the same support fit for a person at its recent reviews, Wakepath may list it under "Follow-ups" for a staff member your organization has designated and who has opted in. This surfaces a pattern for a person to look at — it never changes a record, scores anyone, or decides anything about the person being supported. Your organization's administrator can tell you whether this is enabled and who sees it.
What Wakepath does not track
Wakepath does not score, rank or compare staff. There are no counts of who recorded what. No one at your school can see who opened a person's card. That includes administrators. When you open a person's card, Wakepath keeps the time for you only, so it can mark what changed since. Nobody else sees it. When the team puts something you wrote on a person's card, you see a private note once. Only you see it. It is not counted. Some things are counted for the whole school only, such as how many times a card was opened. These counts never say who. Supervisors can see how many reviews ended with each team decision, for the whole school or a program of 5 or more people. These counts never name a person or a staff member. Whether a decision was carried out is never counted. A review notes who took part by role only, never by name. Whether a team decision happened stays on that person's page. It is never counted or compared. Administrators can see an audit log: who added or changed something, and when, including sign-ins, saved answers and printed cards. It is a security record. It is never turned into counts, scores or rankings of staff. No AI reads, writes or sums up anything during the pilot. No AI ever reads or writes a plan.
On your phone
So a card opens with weak signal, Wakepath keeps your own cards for today on your phone: the people on your Today, by first name and last initial, and what helps them. Nobody else's cards are kept. They are deleted when you sign out, at the daily check, at the end of your organization's day, and when a cover ends. They are not locked with a separate code, so keep your phone locked. When you switch away from the app, a plain screen hides the page from the phone's app switcher. It does not stop screenshots or photos. To talk instead of type, use the microphone on your phone's keyboard if your school allows it. Wakepath does not record your voice.
Counts for the whole organization
Wakepath counts how many times some pages are opened each day, and how much was written each week, for the whole organization. It never records who opened a page. It never reports one person's use. Only an administrator can see these counts.
How AI is used
AI is not used during a pilot. Every pilot feature works without it. Any later use would need your organization’s written agreement first. Wakepath never uses AI to read or write a plan or crisis guidance, and never uses it to diagnose, predict, or reach conclusions about a person.
Pilot data
During a pilot, organizations should confirm the appropriate agreements and internal review are in place before entering real, sensitive participant information. If you are unsure whether your organization is ready, check with your administrator first.
