Who can get into Wakepath, how records are kept apart, and what Wakepath will and will not do.
In plain words
- You need to be invited to use Wakepath.
- Each school or agency’s records are kept apart from all others.
- Your role decides which pages you can see.
- Wakepath does not score people or make decisions about them.
- Use made-up details until your team is told real ones are allowed.
This is a short summary. If it and the text below ever differ, the text below is what counts.
Access is controlled
You need an account to use Wakepath. Only your organization's administrator can make one, by sending you an invitation. Nobody can sign themselves up. Anyone can read this website, but it is kept apart from the app.
Your organization’s records stay yours
Each organization's records are kept apart from all others. Your role decides which pages you can see.
Decisions stay with people
Wakepath helps people make decisions. It does not make them. It does not diagnose, predict, rank or suggest placements. It helps your team see clearly what it has already written down.
Pilot data expectations
While a pilot is being set up, do not enter real information about the people you support. Wait until your organization has the right agreements and its own review in place. If you are not sure, ask your administrator first.
Questions
Do you have a security question, or want to start a review with your organization? Email support@wakepath.org. A security and legal review is part of getting ready for every pilot.
Wakepath is getting ready for its first pilots. Before any real information about the people you support goes in, your organization and we should go over the security, privacy and data-use terms together.
